In a world increasingly beset by conflicts and environmental degradation, there is a growing need for innovative solutions that address these challenges simultaneously. The Peace Circle™ Park is a groundbreaking concept designed to promote peace and environmental stewardship, providing a unique space for education, community engagement, and reflection.

The Vision

This initiative is by Mika Vanhanen, founder of the Plant And Care For Peace Association. "With 20 years of experience in promoting peace and environmental sustainability through the ENO online school's tree planting initiatives, which have spread to over 150 countries, it's time to take the next step with the Peace Circle™ Park."

  • Multi-purpose: Peace Circle™ Parks serve as educational environments, symbols of peace, and community gathering places. They combine physical and digital learning, providing access to multilingual educational materials via QR codes. These parks are more than just green spaces; they are interactive and dynamic learning environments.

  • Visual Message of Peace: On the world map, powered by TreebuddyEarth service, Peace Circle™ Parks send a powerful message of peace from communities, forming a peace symbol when viewed from above. This visual representation reinforces the global unity and commitment to peace and sustainability.

  • Community Engagement: Local communities are integral to the creation and maintenance of Peace Circle™ Parks. These parks provide a platform for community involvement, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards environmental conservation and peacebuilding.
