Plant And Care For Peace Joins UNESCO’s Global Effort for Climate Education

14 October 2024 In a world where climate change and peacebuilding are deeply interconnected, Plant And Care For Peace (PACFP) is proud to take another significant step forward. We are excited to announce our new partnership with the UNESCO Greening Education Partnership (GEP). This milestone strengthens our commitment to environmental education and peacebuilding, aligning with global efforts to tackle one of the most pressing global challenges of our time: climate change.

A Step Towards a Greener and More Peaceful Future

The Greening Education Partnership, led by UNESCO, takes a whole-of-system approach to climate action. Its mission is to support countries in preparing every learner to become climate-ready by embedding climate change education into national learning systems. PACFP is proud to stand alongside governments, inter-governmental organizations, civil society, and the private sector in this global initiative to foster sustainable development.
